Pac-Man level builder
The WhyNot Pac-Man level builder is a community tool for designing custom mazes in the same format the game uses. You paint a 20×21 grid (walls, pellet paths, power pellets, ghost house), pick which row is the side tunnel, and set where the player and ghosts start. When you’re happy, Validate checks the rules, then you can copy JSON or a ready-made forum post draft and share it on The Dirrty Mixbag for others to playtest.
How it works
- Paint the maze — open the grid and click tiles to draw. One row must stay all walkable for the left/right tunnel wrap.
- Tune settings — tunnel row index, display name, player and ghost tile coordinates (inside the maze builder modal).
- Export — validate, then copy JSON or the forum draft and post in a topic tagged

Mario Maker–style board (game-sized canvas): Open maze builder (click the maze) — or use here (compact cell grid in a modal).
Submit on the forum
- Open The Dirrty Mixbag → Forum and sign in.

In-game rotation today uses six built-in mazes; community JSON is the shared format for proposals.
